Colin Danskin

As a school pupil in Camden, Colin developed a love of music from B.B. King to Beethoven through the ensembles on offer, though it was whilst visiting relatives in Ireland that he learnt some of the traditional tunes he now loves to sing and play with The Coach House Company.

As a student at Cambridge, Colin played the trumpet in the university’s Jazz and Symphony Orchestras, working with world-renowned artists in both genres. He also sang with Selwyn College Choir, touring and recording regularly in addition to services. He continues to sing and play both in and out of his job teaching music in a London school.

For nearly six years and counting, Colin has enjoyed arranging, performing and recording with The Coach House Company, his bandmates musicianship and friendship injecting interest and joy at each turn.
